i was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the colors on the injectors in the ka24e, mine are red and two of them are leaking so i gotta change them.....do i have to get red ones or can i get different ones??...i got my hands on two green ones that came out of another 240sx but i dunno if i could use them....

any from an E should be fine, top mount, DE went to side mount so they won't work.
as for part exchanges with the E injectors, I am not familiar with any that used the same...
That engine was used in a couple different cars though, maybe they are just from different vehicles.

I have never seen green ka24e injectors. Are you sure they came from ka24e? stanza injectors are same as 240 but the trucks are slightly different, although they are all red. Check the nippon denso part number on the side, search it, you should come up with something. I would definately not mix them with the reds.

my buddy came by and dropped them off, he said that they were out of another 240 but he didnt know wat year and wat motor so i wanna find out which motor they are from...

are they side feed or top feed?
mine are all a darkish red color, for the sohc.

i also have the sohc with the red ones and these green ones are also top feed.....i will take my fuel rail off today and compare cuz i can remember what the red ones look like and i no that they are similar....ill update u later after i compare, thanx anyways.

How do you guys know if your injectors are bad? Any way of telling if its leaking/dirty?

if they are physically damaged, other than that no. RC engineered will clean and test them for 25 dollars each. if they are stock sohc injectors though, you can get used ones from a running car for less than 25 bucks each.

well my injectors were cracked and thats why they were leaking but i have replaced them now with the same ones which i got from the wreckers, all it costed me was time and some great techniques on getting away with them....hehe
