White 93' 240 5 spd Coupe in the Woodlands, TX

SE 5 speed with under 100k miles on the engine and car
NO MOONROOF TALL PEOPLE!!!!

Almost everything is stock

26mm 300zx brakes in the front
Poly TC rod bushings
6 CD changer (crappy speakers)

Removed the upper timing chain guide over a year ago. Front main seal was replaced a year ago along with the oil pan seal.

Body is straight except for one place in the rear on the driver's side. Looks like the car was hit or slid into something (mailbox/small pole) and the owner at the time didn't do a very good job pulling the dent. Still not bad, though. Frame is perfect. I had this checked out.
The speedometer suffers from the common "only on while it's hot" problem. I've verified that it's only a solder joint problem and a cluster from the junkyard should fix it.

I use only synthetic oil. Been using 300zx fuel filters for the past year and a half.

I've taken really good care of the car. No leaks, hasn't been driven hard. Clutch still feels strong. Tranny shifts smooth and doesn't grind through any gear. I can't move the car anywhere right now because the starter is gone. There is no doubt that it is the starter. I may have a new one in by the end of this week.

I'm asking 4500. I think it's pretty fair for a good running, nearly stock 93'. Also comes with a full sized SE rim "and" a donut spare (5 SE rims and a spare).

I won't deny that it's a nicer car. But it's also in Indiana.
Area has a hand in determining price.

If you find a 240 like mine in the Houston area for even 4500 you're pretty lucky.
Not to mention my car's never been raced. It was intended for that, but I never got there.

4500 is a starting price. I never said I wouldn't work on it.

Really, though. If you aren't interested in buying my car, you shouldn't knock my price. Let possible buyers decide what's too high.

Check autotrader.com and put in area code 77382. Everything for 300 miles is around this price and isn't in as good condition.

If it is any consolation, I purchased my black s14 SE with 4 10's, JVC MP3 Deck, air intake, stainless steel brake lines, slotted rotors, immaculate interior, for $3400 here in San Antonio. A week ago, I got an 89 coupe with HUD, clean ass interior, rebuilt engine, and great body (she's fine) for $75. The only problem is the engine needs to be put back together, but that is no biggie as it is my hobby. Just something to think about.

OMFG!!!! where do you guys find these coupes in texas?? ive been searching everywhere for a decent, running 240 for so long, havent found one thats in an acceptable price range (1500-2300) or that wasnt wrecked and needed engine work. I couldnt care less about the paint its the engine/tranny/suspension that i care about.

That's cool, and I can understand your point. Congrats on finding such good deals. But it is difficult to find a decent S13 in the Houston area. Heck, it's even hard to find a beater now (think drifting). I'm honestly basing price on what I've seen around here.

Yea i finally found my 240, its a fastback but had a rebuilt motor w/ 10k miles with a 50k mile warranty... frame is straight so ya cant beat that, had a macco paint job and cruddy interior but i can deal with that. final price was 1000 bucks.... id call it a steal b/c of the warranty on the engine.
