i'm going to be getting new rims after this winter season... i'm really confused on which way to go so, i'm thinking of (nitekids don't flame me) 5zigen typhoons or copse's, or maybe a used set of volk te37s, i've also thought about some watanabes but i'm not sure on them. which way would you guys point me in, and what would you all prefer to be a good size and offset? thanks once again.

17x9 +25
volk
the 5zigen copse (NOT corpse--dead body) are ugly and poor size/offset combo!
typhoons are ok, but ugly unless 17x9 +15 in hypersilver :p even then its questionable
kosei k1s are hot
i say:
9" +25 or lower
8" +25 or lower

Typhoons are heavy, but looks good in chrome (hyper silver) 17x9 +15 and NO center caps.
For your budget, i would not consider Te37s. They will be hte weaksauce size and offset. Wheels that cost almost $600 new dont magically drop in price just cause they have been mounted on someones car.... Heh.
K1/P1 is also a dope wheel. IMO 16 inch is the best size for them. 16x8.5 +20 or so (they come in .5 not even numbers anymore... i dunno why)

4 lug TE37 isnt made in good size or offset. Thats what i just said, you wont find a good size TE37 in the US (very few people... like Benson) especially a used one. Dont dream...

dousan, speaking of ups... my dad works there. and the excuse thing, i don't usually shop online, don't even have a credit card. i have to go to a parts store and order from there... most stores around here carry cheap rims like konig and knock off fwd rims, hince my koings. the only two things i've ever bought from the internet is my cat-back from enjuku and my spoiler from jspec, and i had to go throw my best friend for that much. well anywho... 4 lugs staying. any offset will probably better than what i have now. ;)

Why not jump on the group buy for the DT-05R wheels? There 4 lug, 17x8.5 +25. Good size and offset. About 900 shipped to you for a set of four. Many options...
