My s13 is running wild. Its a 5 speed manual. At Idle the car will rev up and down around 800 - 700 rpms. Also when I step on it the car has LOTS of trouble stopping. If i let completely off the gas then the car will start jumping like crazy. And the only way to get it from stopping is constantly giving it more and more gas until I am flooring it..... heres my specs

you probably have a vacuum leak, in the manifold, brake booster line or the booster itself and/or failing check valve

Here are some pictures to help you get the idea of what I am doing. also can you point to where those parts are? Sorry but I am fairly new to sr20's or anything with 4 cylinders.

I do believe he is referring to this:

Ifeel like this is a possibility. However I admit I'm no SR expert.

That is what I am referring to. Again any help would be appreciated.
* Note: Turns out the guy I bought it from did NOT have an air filter on it must be because the inter-cooler hose was blocking it. I put an intake on there and now it idles at about 1000 RPM I haven't driven it on the road yet in fear that he probably has never even changed the oil lol -_-'. But even if the problem is fixed i think that 1000 rpm is still a little high for idling. Any help with figuring problem out would be appreciated.

Well I know a vacuum leak can cause high idle.
Also looks like in stock configuration the "T" portion goes to the turbo inlet.

Two good high res shot of the "T" fitting.
Looks like he deleted the turbo inlet pipe like you said and in doing so deleted that pre turbo line.

Oh ok thanks for the help. Sould I try re-routing the the hose or try pluging it? should pluging it cause any issues like is it suppose to be open like this?

Plugging it should fix the idle issue but I feel like you would want to re-route it in like stock in the future.

^^^^ this guy is an idiot and it shows with his 3 posts. Do not plug it off reroute the pos
If you just bought it. Go through and change out all the fluids. Then give it a good wash. Add an air filter, a line to the turbo intake(after the maf), and drive it around easy for half a tank of gas. Then go through and check it out again for leaks or anything that looks strange. Your idle is high probably because the douche you got it from messed with the throttle cable or IACV. Start at the throttle cable. Unbolt it and start the car. Check rpm's. Adjust to 600 and your set. If idle stays at 1000rpm with it disconnected, check for vaccuum leaks or splits in rubber hoses. If none, then adjust the IACV.

Ya I'm definitely an idiot, because three post directly relates to how long I've been in the community. Oh and BTW I said he should put it back to stock. The wording I should have used was plug it while its running to see if it effects the idle or anything. Seeing as the "T" is broken off he might not have a stock "T" and hose to pull out of his a**.

Ok guys thank you for the help. As soon as I get the guages rewired I will get to work on changing everything out lol. No one needs to complain I am just asking for some friendly advice since I know no other people that are atleast as literate as I am when it comes to cars. I think the guy has a switch which he uses to turn the guages on and off I just can't get ahold to him, he wont answer his phone or anything so my best bet is to remove the dash and find where they lead to and rewire them.
*Sorry for late reply I am usually refreshing this post ever 30 minutes but I just got out of school.

To get this out of the way I love the welded differential it just makes it alot more fun, but its really easy to go sideways especially since where I live is a highway street that takes you anywhere you need to go, so its a bit dangerous. I want to buy a LSD but I don't know where to start. For starters if there is a bad a** one I can get from another car that is better than the aftermarket once then tell me. But if you know any of the top of the line ones that are good tell me. I was looking at this web page KAAZ Solid Limited Slip Differential (LSD) S13/S14 240SX 89-98 (http://intensepower.com/kasolisldils.html) and I don't know which one to get since there are many options. Are these good? If they are which one should I get for best performance? if not then what kind should I get?
