Thought i'd put this in the fuse box relocation or wire tuck thread but i didnt want to put my problems on there. I relocated my fusebox under my dash. New distribution block and all. I also reloomed my engine harness. I followed the fsm for everything. I am thinkng of buying a new engine harness but really don't want to take the easy way out.

So i wired up all my circuits. The voltage from the bat is showing a healthy 12.5 volts. My ECU is getting power. The car cranks but won't turn.

What i'm noticing:

-Power FC shows fuel pump is powered. I hear the relay click when i turn the key to on. I pinch the fuel lines but don't feel anything when it primes.

-Car cranks but after a few seconds of cranking voltage drops below 12 to about 10 amps and starts to turn really slow

Tomorrow I plan on buying a multimeter (which i dont own). Where should I from here and how should i check it? I would really like some help from wiring gurus!!!

Theres 1 signal wire coming from the ecu that needs 12v to start,...even tho ur ecu is getting power,...cant remember what wire,.........fuck it,. ima go check really quick....

its a red/white,. either pin 46 or 109,......all this probalby depending on your motor

also,. maybe not enough engine grown to crank,..throw on some temp extras to check

Yeah i checked the power wire. It's fine. I added a 2 gauge instead 4 gauge from the negative terminal. I added a 4 gauge ground from the alternator to ground. I still have the lanky ass stock alternator power wire from the starter. Looks sort of long. I'm gonna shorten this and use thicker gauge wire... I don't know where else to add a ground. I'm thinking i'm might need a new battery too. I'll check my reistance soon.

I'm still stumped why the motor isnt getting fuel. And the click i'm hearing is the ignition relay. Don't think is the fuel pump. Is the fuel pump wiring routed through the chassis harness on the driver's side?

yes it is!

just grab some jumper cables to ground your engine really quick and give that a try.

are you suuuuuuure its not getting fuel?
fuel pump isnt that hard to listen for, just click the key over once to hear it (or not)

check injectors and coil packs for power, cas sensor too, funny how many times ive seen that just wiggle loose.
