I'm thinking about selling my new project
It is a 1984 Garelli Monza GT.
has a 50cc motor, legally it should only go 30mph or less but this goes about 35-40 depending on conditions.
Has a 50 dirtbike carb, Expansion pipe and minor tweaks to make it run and look the way it does.
It has given me problems the past few weeks and i started school today so its either i spend all my time working on it or working on school.
Does it run? YES. will it die on you? NO. Can i ride it the way it is? YES, but eventually you'd want to fix it.
when i first got it it had minor rust in tank and a few rust holes under the bottom of tank from age. chemically took the rust out and all acid.
i stripped the tank, took it to a radiator shop and they fixed the holes.(thought they did)
i took it home, primed and painted it and fill it with gas, overnight a small leak pops up and im back to square one where i need to sand down and take it back to the shop to get the pinsized hole filled. ( i have pictures from start to finish of what i did with the tank. that will show you exactly what i was doing)
NOT ALOT OF WORK. 4 bolts, some sandpaper, and degreaser worth of work. just time consuming which is what im limited to.
take it from me for 700 bucks. i'll probably try and fix it and maybe ask a bit more. havent decided yet.

i'm throwing in the side covers from the bike, and stock bars, and cafe/clubman bars(not pictured and maybe) and rear luggage rack and front fender.
throw a 70cc kit on and it and rejet the carb or get a bigger one and you'd have a 50mph moped.
$19 LIFETIME registration fee. ride on the sidewalk or street. No insurance or M1 needed just reg!
