Story: Did a 5 speed swap with new clutch kit 3 months ago.
During the swap i input new Slave and master and hardline.
New tob,pressure plate,clutch .

Drove fine and sfited like butter for thos months. 2 weeks ago im coming of the freeway and i begain to feell it get harder to shift into gear underload.
gear underload.

I drive it home.2 hours later it wont even shift at all. So next day i bleed the hydrolic system.

Wroks fine again afterwards.Shifts like butter for a week.
exactly a week later im just driving to my soccer game and i start to feel it get hard to shift again.Drive home and leave her there.

Now i get a new slave .... and bleed it , even adjust the clutch pedal.
pedal gets pressure and is firm . i can see the slave pushing the fork fine.

This is where im stumped...i bled it over and over and now it wont go into
gear underload. I am going to cahnge the master today.

andy ideas on what it can be or what do i do?:(

add:i had the same clutch and tranny on a previous ka24de for only 1 month and never gave me this problem.

engine is a stock ka24de

Are you sure you torqued down the pressure plate bolts properly?

^ Second on the pressure plate.

After a year of the "race" clutch , (whatever the fuck it is), My pressure plate backed out 3 turns.
Retorqued it all back in.
works fine again.

Same symptoms, wouldnt go into gear at all.

I adjusted the clutch pedal to alow it to come out further should i have adjusted it to sit in deeper?

i was thinking it would be the pressure plate not getting to the clutch.

and as far as the clip goes ill see

i guess all in all i have to remove the tranny huh?

replace the master cylinder first. make sure you have enough freeplay on the clutch pedal because if you don`t have any, the clutch will wear out fast. you said it worked after you bled the clutch, so it`s a hydraulic problem. replace the master cylinder and re bleed the system.

dont replace the master, thats just more money.
have a friend look at the slave cylinder and make sure it is working and pushing the fork when you push the clutch.

If it works, the master is fine.

Yes, you have to remove the tranny.

its the pressure plate, fork spring, or pilllow ball thing, all in the tranny.

If its pushing out, and moving the fork a tiny bit, its working. It works on a fulcrum (the pillow ball or whatever its called.) So a little movment on the outside is a lot more onthe throwout bearing end of the deal.
