1988 Mazda RX7 GXL (FC3S Series 4)

Non-turbo

About 110k miles on the odometer (actual mileage is a bit lower, more like 100k). Motor is still very strong. Sorry, no compression numbers (and I won't be getting any, the car is 500 miles away).

Awesome canyon car.

Mostly stock, just the typical NA mods:
- Convertible hood (aluminum, as apposed to stock steel hood).
- Rare quick ratio 4.3 GTUs differential
- KYB AGX adjustable shocks (very strong, no leaks or hopping)
- Tanabe GF210 springs
- Corksport SS brake lines
- Momo deep steering wheel / Momo hub
- Some kind of bronze Konig wheels (16x7 +23/+25) with bronze Buddyclub P1 lugnuts.
- Falken Azena's (205/50?/16) +80% tread
- Mazda 626 lip
- NEW clutch kit
- Resurfaced flywheel
- I think it has some rare aero pieces on it still...
- Probably a bunch of other small things I can't remember.


It does have a few dents, one on the rear wheel arch that looks like it could be banged out and one on the driver's side door/ b-pillar.

Over-all a very strong car, good interior, good electrics (for an FC). Perfect DD/ weekend canyon car or TII project.

So I just found out the odometer actually reads a little over 120k. I apologize for the misinformation, it's hard to keep track of everything from so far away.

Someone came by and did a compression test; said it was doing 95psi. I assume that's the average for all 6 faces.

Speaking of the clutch: if anyone wants to test it or something please take it easy, it has about 20 miles on it and should be properly broken-in still.

YOU will have to register (and smog) this car. This sale has taken too long and I can not do it myself as I live too far away. I don't feel like this is much of a problem as anyone interested in buying a 23 year old rotary should understand that it will have smog issues.

If it becomes too much of a problem I'll work with you on the final sale price to compensate, but as-is I have a lot of interest in the car and do not feel the need to lower the price.
