Hey guys
Finnally pulled my motor and tranny so I could go sr20
I had put a lot of time and money into making this car a great track car but I'm done with ka so here it is
Now the motor is a 95 spec s14 ka(obd1) which is what I wanted since it only had 115k when I pulled it from the t-boned zenki my friend was parting out and cuz it is a direct drop swap into my s13
Then I slapped a rebuilt head and new head gasket on it from my dd 97 kouki which turned out to have a rod knock
Also attached to the motor is an s13 tranny which was sold to me with 80k on it (or so I was told) eithe way it works perfectly no grinds or pops unlike my first 2 lol
Has oem exedy clutch, flywheel, TOB, fork, shifter, mount, crossmember, and speed sensor
Now I am selling this setup CHEAP because of two small issues
1: the front timing cover was swapped on without being machined like the head was which created a timing chain rattle. I have replaced the upper tensioner but rattle is still there
2: I started getting a leak from the oil sending unit right next to the oil filter
Should be super simple since the engine is out I just didn't fix it realizing I'm going sr so make sure to take care of it before swapping it in
Anyways if u wanna dont mind doing a lil work then ur definately coming up
I mean the motor alone before I even swapped on the rebuilt head was $450 so u do the math
I'd like $550 for the complete swap
I've given all the information I can about the motorset so plz dont come in here asking dumb questions
