View Full Version : CA FS: S13 4-pt cage w/ removable door bars

Bought this from 9K racing a while ago, never got around to putting it in. It had some surface rust from sitting outside and I've grinded off most of it. You'll need new base plates made. Door bars are removed by unbolting. Has harness bar.

As you can see not all the surface rust is off. Cage was cut out of the previous car so theres base plate and actual metal from the car on some of the ends.

Consider any trades? And do you have pics of the door bars?

pics of the removable door bars. How does it connect to the cage and how long are the portruding portions of the door bar from the main hoop? Does that ever get in the way when you are driving or getting in and out?

mitsubayati: No it doesn't really get in the way, it connects to the cage by sliding together into a slot, then you secure it with a bolt on both ends.

I'll get pics of the bars tomorrow

Same question about the door bars, how does it connect to front side of car, also OD of bars? Pix of welds please

how long is the door bar portion still welded onto the main hoop?

Connects to the front side the same way, again I'll have pics up tomorrow. I'll have to measure the door bar portion on the main hoop but its very short.

I'm not sure if it'll fit a vert because I don't know if the soft top would get in the way.

pics uploaded, the part connected to the main hoop is 5 inches. I don't know the OD of the bars sry, I just know its DOM steel.
