Drifting 10/15/2011 Altus Speedway

FMS is taking over Altus Speedway on Oct 15th 2011. If you think you've had a good time at one of our events, hang on brother. This one is off the hook.

Starting at:
1PM Car show in town, doing a little pre-show drifting to go along.
3-4PM Police escort around the town and back to the track.
4-7PM Drifting practice runs
7-10PM full on drifting, tamdem, course run/closest to the cones, best smoke show in a drift, and best burn out of the night/spectator participation.
10PM awards and cash payout.

Cash payouts are based on driver participation.

On October 15th, 2011 we will be drifting under the cool night air, under the Moon and under the lights of Altus Speedway. This event is a paid event for the winner of the Tandem and Clipping point events that day. The winners of the two events will be paid $200 cash that night.


Every driver that preregisters will get free admission for the driver and car. Event registration is $20 at www.frictionmotorsports.com (http://www.frictionmotorsports.com/). Anyone else that wants to enter the pits will have to buy a pit pass, and those are $20. Each driver that has registered will be paid $40 for showing up and drifting that night, regardless if they win or not.

If you show up and have not pre-paid by October 1st, you will have to pay $60 at the gate to enter the event. Don't wait...

Gates open @ 1PM, Practice starts at @ 2PM till 6 PM, Racer meeting is @ 6:30PM, and Races start @ 7PM. There is a car show in town before the race and I will be at the show prior to the track opening.
