12v power source besides cigarette lighter?

Trying to hook up an aem uego but I don't know shit about electrical stuff, but I do know that my cigarette lighter doesn't work. Is there another source nearby I can use?

run power wire from battery to 30amp relay to your gauge (or make a power dist. block if youre running multiple gauges/misc electronics, switchable power i.e. ignition power to relay, and ground the relay

I think I'm going to do that since I have a boost gauge already and now wideband and boost controller and emanage going in after the wideband. Now just gotta find someone who knows how to wire that up for me lol.

there are plenty of 12v sources under the steering column. thats where i have everything wired. get a test light and find one. or use the radios

what`s wrong with the cigarette lighter plug? like what chetos13 said, replace the 15amp fuse. much easier than rewiring and possibly shorting some thing else.

Ok after hours of searching how I could possibly do this myself, I think I've found something to make it as easy as it's gonna get, and I don't have to do any messy wire tapping that I have no experience with:

Called "Add-A-Circuit" from Autozone. I take it that I just replace my cig lighter fuse with this and then all I have to do is ground the wideband and plug it's power wire into this thing?


I also tried searching for the cig lighter fuse location but everything I find says it's the 4th one down on the left in the fuse panel, but the fuse I pulled from that spot is 30amp, I think the posts I was reading were for s14's? Where's the s13 cig lighter fuse??
