Man, here's a tip. Whatever you do, never go to a body shop that's advertised a lot by various show cars around the area like 20/20 Autobody, Bodypros, PJ Benifacio, etc. Avoid those as much as you can. Everyone knows about those shops and they only do great work on show cars that make it on magazine covers and big car shows. I've been hearing some bad stuff about how they treat regular ol' Joe Schmoes on the Honda-Tech.com board. Like they don't do such a good job on their cars. I heard "Performance Auto Body" in Torrance is pretty good, but that's quite a drive away. Also around the Orange County area...

There's MOB, ask for a guy named Miguel, 714 423-3334, I also heard good things about that guy.

Sorry, that's all I know. I think one of my friends partly owns a body shop somewhere in So Cal, but that's all the way down in San Deigo or maybe somewhere further up north. Hey...I tried. =/

I disagree. PJ Bonaficio is an excellent body shop. I know several people who've gotten work done there with excellent results.

Yea, but are they just "regular people" or are they hot shot show car guys who grace the covers of magazines, show up as featured cars on websites, and stuff?

Again, these are just "rumors" that quite a lot of people are posting around the net. I've only heard bad stuff about 20/20 and Body Pros. For some reason, some guy mentioned "PJ Bonaficio" as an example without a real testamony, but as an example of how the popularity of a shop can cause long..LONG waits.
