Hmm. Better hope your pressure plate didn't come loose...

sounds like the flywheel is loose. i`ve done that before on an 18rg toyota engine. revved it up to 8k rpm on second gear and i broke 2 flywheel bolts. better take care of it right away before you mess up the crank to flywheel surfaces.

or you can also check your driveshaft.

if you step on the clutch and the vibration lessens, it`s a loose flywheel. the throw out bearing pushes on the whole clutch and flywheel assembly when you step on the clutch, hence the flywheel is pushed against the crank, like when it`s mounted correctly. stop driving it and check everything before you take it apart, but it sounds like the flywheel is loose.

My flywheel came loose recently. It wasn't too bad, only at high rpm would I hear a rattling sound, but I knew right away when i heard it. Immediately took my tranny off to inspect the damage. All 8 were loose, 4 finger loose and 4 loose enough to use a wrench with zero effort.

Chunks of aluminum fidanza were embedded on my crank surface...

You can see on the crank surface where the aluminum was embedded. I had to sand it down to smooth everything out. Sucked but damage wasn't too bad. Whatever you do don't drive it anymore until you fix it.

i went to loosen up my driveshaft at the rear end and the bolts were pretty loose but now that i think of it that couldnt be the problem because it happens when i start the car

your running a two piece driveshaft. sometimes the rubber housing supporting part1 and part 2 can wear out. causing balance issues. basically the driveshaft will sort of hang. get under there and mvoe it around. it will cause that vibration. i had to replace my buddies not too long ago. happened in his s13.

hope this helps ya

motors going back in um so if this vibration still occurs what should i be looking for next? could it be subframe bushings when my cars on jackstand the subframe doesnt touch the chassis?

Do you have gap like this?

My motor didn't shake but with gap like that you will get some serious wheel hop like I had. You will definitely want to replace them as soon as you can.

I don't think its my motor shaking it sounds like its coming from the rear /tranny

Wow you guys made him pull his motor and it wasn't even the problem? That's fucked up....lol the first thing I would have done was check the easy basic shit first before going to an extreme, to all their own

••EDIT••
maybe it was right to pull the motor, unbalanced crank shaft???

unfortunatly i pulled the motor for nothing...guess im just getting better at doing it haha but the problem turnt out to be my clutch fan had a missing blade and alot of blades were chipped pretty bad i took taht off put in electric fan and BAM problem solved....for now but i am going to replace those sub frame bushings...do i go with solid sub fram spacers?
