HUD issue (with picture)

So, my hud and speedo dont work (at any time) which is an issue since the car hasnt been certified yet. I tried the capacitor test which did nothing. I tried it again with the little wire grounded and all that and still nothing. Then i noticed that there are some small burn marks on the module. Could that be my issue? Anyone have any input on this one?

I had those same burn marks on my 91, HUD still comes on once and a while but for the most part it doesn't work at all anymore.I'd say it's shot but that's just my 2cents
