... an SR and otherwise stock car... welcome to the bandwagon is more like it! Where's the suspension? :aw: What happened to the Bride seat?! :aw: Even if your motor was already blown, I hardly think an SR is what most of us would consider the "right" place to start with your modifications.

That said... welcome, anyway. ;)

umm ur saying if you blew ur engine, you would try and salvage the KA, rather than just tossing the extra dough into an sr anf going from there?

oh well

welcome to zilvia. where did u get ur work done? or did u install ur self?

Suspension/Brakes are coming next. I sold the Bride because I really didnt like it all too much, I am 6'2 180lbs and I didnt like its design all that much, my back wasnt as straight up as I would have liked (however, it had great support).

So yea, my KA went to shit so it was either get a new car or swap the 240 (kinda hard to get suspension mods when your car doesnt even run :hammer: ).

That is the weakest comment that I have heard in a while. Ivan is a good guy and he is at the exact same point that I was at when I first started tuning.
Would you say the same thing to a guy that bought a stock 180sx? No...but you will hate on the n00b.

Disregard if you were being sarcastic Adey

Nice car Ivan and I can't wait to see Sean's work again. He does some of the cleanest swaps on this coast. We tried our damndest to get our wiring as clean as Sean's but I can't pull if off...yet!
:bowdown:Fear the swap whore

Will you be at the D&B meet this Saturday?

The comments were semi-sarcastic... I think the :aw: guy looks funny, so I made liberal use of him!
The sarcasm was in my use of (what was supposed to come off as) ridicule at an all-stock except SR car...
the not-so-sarcastic part was in the questioning where the suspension is. :o

nrcooled, I don't understand your comment... I wouldn't say what about someone who got a stock 180sx? Someone who bought a stock 180sx would have $2000 extra because they wouldn't have to swap an SR in. (It already has one!)

Coastek- yes, I would put another KA in, NOT an SR. The difference is about $2000. (~2500 for SR, <500 for KA) If I had a car w/ blown KA, first thing is new KA, then the rest of the >2000 that I saved from not getting an SR would've gone into restoration, suspension and brakes!

yeesh, what's with the oldie bashing these days? I wasn't even bashing (less insulting) the n00b and I get all this stick?!
