I am an artist....

I am an artist at heart.... at least my college degree tells me that I am.

Everything is large in presence. Most pieces are 4-5 feet tall. I like to do layer-work. The paint really raises itself "off the page" if you will.

I have fallen back into love with my two biggest passions in life.... Cars and Art. I have begun doing both again. Recently, i acquired a new "project car" to build for road-racing. On the art side, i began to make pieces of work again. I really only work when i am motivated. So these peices both took about 2-3 months. Not because of the difficulty... but because of my sporatic (sp) motivation.

I guess i just felt like sharing my work. I apologize for puttign it in the wrong section.

Unless you contribute artwork everyday, this thread, like many build threads will come and go. But put it in the art thread where everyone can contribute, and people will look through it.

In terms of my artwork, i am capable of painting, drawing, ceramics, and metal sculpture. But painting is my favorite.

My degree from college is in fine art. But, alas, I do not work in the art industry. I am the head of operations for a "headhunting" firm. Dont ask me how i got into that industry... it confuses even me! ha

Perhaps my best advantage is that I did not get a degree in business. My approach in business in general is different. And i attribute that to not becoming taught to be like all the others.
