Can you get any of the higher priced JIC's or other brands that adjust the height by the strut body not the coil
If so I'd be interested in those

the height is always adjusted by the coil, the damper is totaly diffrent than height.

He is talking about where the height is adjusted by raising and lowering the shock body in the lower mount keeping the piston placement within the shock body the same.

i would like to see an example of what you are talking about b/c i don't know of it, not to say you are wrong, i just don't know, the products that i deal with don't do that, jic, tein (hr&ha), gab, hks, i would love to see this kind, who makes it and what is the model.

thos in your picture are what he is saying. you can adjust the height of the strut without adjusting the bottom spring perch. basically, the coilover acts EXACTLY the same no matter where you have the height adjusted to.

spring preload is independant from height

In the pic you linked, the red locknut at the bottom that binds against the lower mount.

I believe that the flt-a2's have it, but the SF-1s don't. I MAY also be interested if you have some flt-a2 for a S13.
