Socal drag racing?

Welp ive been back in oceanside for almost two months, and have yet to find many guys who drag race at all local. What good preped 1/4 mile tracks are within 200 miles? Any good import drag racing forums local? Compared to ohio california car scene seems weak as hell.

there is fontana 1/4 mile drags, barona 1/8 mile drags and dirt oval, qualcomm stadium 1/8 mile drags(look up racelegal.com), and almost weekly auto cross events, and irwindale 1/8 mile drags.

Hands down the car scene is a lot different.

All most any other state when it comes to drag racing. Socal has 1 1/4 mile track thats open every other month for 1 weekend if that. Since we don't have the track at Terminal island drag racing has sucked out here. That track was open every weekend and at sea level.

Now I see why a lot of guys out west came out east to compete in the import scene for drag racing.
