Quick Digital Climate Question?

Let say I buy an 180sx front clip and it comes with the digital climate control. Instead of using the s13 digital climate control, can I use an s14 digital kind instead? Are the back of the 2 digital climate controls the same or different?

to wire up the digital climate is NOT easy
you needall the harnesses wiring, sensors and so forth

its a lot of work

i know of 2 people who have done it, NOT an easy task

it can be done but if you are looking for help you shouldnt be doing it, just fyi. the people who have done it too lots of time and reserach and wiring skills to get it workign properly.

So then I need an s14 sr engine to get the s14 climate to work instead of the s13 sr. Right?

i would GUESS no but you definately need some wiring skills!

you got all the digital sensors too? all the wiring for those???

if not, then stop asking qs because you need those parts

Thats why I was saying what if I had a Front Clip which has everything I need.

iirc there are sensors in various areas of the cockpit.

I wouldn't be so sure the S14 DCC unit won't work in an S13 with all the wiring, sensors, etc. I've had 3 different DCC models plug right into my S13 DCC harness and work perfectly. However I haven't tried hooking up a S14 control unit.

the s14 unit looks really ghetto when compared to the s13 unit ... I dont know why someone would want one over the other
