who makes a decent coil over kit? actually, who makes one that isnt a total piece of crap, for 400$?

tell me what you are using and whether you would use the same ones again.

yes, i just want an inexpensive kit, it doesnt have to be good.

i just want the better of the worst.

i know that there are a few companies making sleeve/spring kits in that price range.

ground control
etc.

ground control is the ONLY one id ever recommend

but then you should probably get new shocks

so it still will cost you more then 400

dont be ghetto

i was thinking of picking up the ground control s14 kit, and some new KYBs.

i'll be ghetto if i want to. it's my hoopty

i dont care if it is the best track tuned suspension, as long as it's better than the worn out stock springs/shocks.

Ground control is not "ghetto" it's good stuff. But try to get Koni's with it insteed of the Agx's.

exactly
ground control = top quality

i said ghetto if you run sleeves [and lower your car] with stock shocks, which some people do.

no, hell, i'd probably get more out of the new shocks than i would out of the coil over kit. my stock stuff is in poor shape.

thanks for the input, the ground control had been recommended to me for the value. $$$ is hard to come by these days.

i found a set of JIC coilovers on ebay moderately used for 600bucks. that'd be worth it if you could come up with the cash. usually i wouldnt recomend buying used suspension parts (like shocks) but im sure these arent completely blown and their rebulidable so eventually you could make em perfect
