i notice i just put in my sparkplugs about 2 weeks ago and i check em, they're blown! and after i replaced them again, the motor makes a clicking sound that's noticable during idle speed. thoughts?

your plugs are burnt? maybe your motor is running too rich...just to lean it out or get hotter plugs like rating # 8 for ngk's

check your valves and your timing

shiet...if it's the valves, then what do i have to do? is there a heavy price on having it done?

a friend of mine went through plugs every month, thought he was running rich. went to a dyno and found out he was running lean... would a dyno help??

good luck

to be more specific, my idle drops here and then. and one time i boosted, it was hesitating on me. i changed my plugs and boosted again, it still hesitated. dunno, if that will help for you guys. im wondering if i can do it myself...

Not enough information:boink: What color were your plugs when you pulled them?

if plugs are burning up and are white in color..then you are running lean..get that checked out asap because it can be VERY detrimental to the engine..

not sure haven't pulled em out to check yet, but will do it soon. not to be an airhead, what's running lean and what's running rich? sorry...

lean- not enough fuel
rich- too much fuel

Get a vavle job done and you will notice the clicking sound is gone. I just had my whole head rebuilt just before the vavle lashers started to wear out. you will eventually start to lose power and boost. then the detonation will eventually destroy your engine.

Well I am in japan and I took it to a friend of mines shop and he took care of it for $280 for parts and labor.
