hello,

To start, i have an sr20det with a z32 maf. at first i thought it was the maf; so i checked the wiring with meter....turns out the wiring is correct. I replaced the maf with a know working one....still won't rev past 3k. i cleaned both sensors and still nothing.

Its running real rich at idle and like i said won;t rev past the 3k in neutral. anyone have any ideas? i checked for a boost leak, but found nothing. however my boost gauge does say -12 inHG. If i remember correctly, my past sr20dets have read in the -20s. Maybe I have the vacuum hoses hooked up wrong?

as it sits it idles alright and does smoke, but i figured it is because of how rich it is. can it be tps? but a tps wouldn't cause it to run rich. I replaced the iacv, thinking it was that, but still nothing.

What do you guys think?

thanks
kbui

1. hoping u have a tune for the z32 maf, as sr will dump fuel without it.
2. try checking voltage on tps close and wot.
3. replace CTS if all else fails
4. ...???...
5. Profit.

check maf signal at the ecu.

check ecu for codes.

Still sounds like a maf related problem.

Also check your intercooler piping. Sounds like you have a vacuum leak.

As mentioned before in regards to your maf, if you do not have a tune for it then that is the reason it isn't running properly.

You normally do not run a z32 maf unless you have an upgraded turbo, injectors, ecu. So if you do not have those three things, that is probably why it won't run as it should.

This man speaks the truth. Who says JB fans are good for nothing?

A tune for what exactly?

But honestly, it sounds like the couplers.
