problem with new car?

I just bought a new car and i didnt know but it is salvaged but the big thing is that there is no VIN number on the dash. Theres a VIN number on a sticker on the inside of where the door opens though. Is the missing VIN number from the dash gonna be a problem?

hey ive read that its illegal and you need to go somewhere special to have them make you a new one to put on there.

Sue the bastard that sold it to you. Tampering with VIN number/VIN plate is illegal the last time I checked, try Carfax next time man.
