direct bolt on. mounts to existing mounts/holes on your engine bay. sometime cars are missing bolts, but they are the common 10mm small bolts that come on your vehicle.

It fits around the z32 BMC I'm running one w/ a 17/16 BMC. If its a s14 then you may need to tweak/re-bend some of the lines for it to clear if you haven't upgraded them yet to the chase bay lines.

I got in on the last batch. The fitment is perfect. I'm using one on a S14 w/ Z32 BMC and it fits well as long as you have the lines out of the way.

As for fitment with a t3/t4, I sure hope so. It should fit because the fitment is pretty tight. i m not sure how large your housing is or the placement of your custom manifold, but I know of a t3/t4 that fitted great.

i wish that was the case. the most costly part of the shipping process is not the boxing, but the weight of shipment. current box with product shipped across the country is actually right at $7 and sometimes just a little more, and i use that number towards zilvia members, hoping to reduce as much costs as possible for people who get them. When I add another product to the packaging, the price goes up based on the weight. got mine today! looks great , but i feel something is off with the fitment on my s14. I had to kinda play with it to line up the holes to bolt it up, but other then that it fits great.

I wonder if there would have been a added benefit if the bottom of the BMC was heat shielded as well since heat can reach it from the bottom?

glad you got it soon. hmm, i m sorry if you had some fitment issues. its a tight fit but the material thickness i used was designed so you can tweak it if needed too. the few cars i tested them on seem to be perfect. again sorry for that.

as for the bottom being shielded, from an engineering standpoint, circulating hot air and pressure under the hood is not causing the most direct boiling problem, its direct radiation from turbo, manifold etc.. the shield is suppose to create a barrier of that direct heat. you could be correct in your statement but i think the best bang for the effort is this form of shielding.

hope the shield helps you out and thank you so much for the input. i will think about it and see if more can be done.

thank you for the review. the bend form steel can sometimes be compacted from the way the manufacturers ship them to me by stacking them up and the bottom ones get compacted in a little. but you should be able to bend, stretch them back out. there is a possibility that the batch you received did not match with the prints, i will go back to check and see if they conform to my QC. i m so sorry for the extra bending you had to do. but please do send me pics of the KAt on the s14 with the shield.
