Where to buy SR long blocks from?

All the old good companies seem to be gone these days... Where would you guys get a long block from? For a descent price that is in actually good shape.

I did search, again its all the old companies that pop up and most only sell complete motors

No but you can order from Zerolift Autolab or also you can try hitting up screen name Krappy on here cause there is a jdm motor importer right next to his shop that might be able to get you what your looking for in the Atlanta area. Also there is Showzone here in Charleston area.

I got mine from Carlos at JDM of Miami.. give him a call. He sold me a longblock (redtop) came with clutch, clutch fan, motor mounts.. packaged well. It was like 850 or 900 shipped. Valve cover to pan, I've had it for like 2.5 years and its still kicking. My buddy bought a black top long block from him for like 900 or whatever and it was super clean. He's a legit dude.

JDM of Miami's prices have gone up. It's 1k just for the long block now plus shipping. I remember when they were only $700.

I wouldn't call it the best deal. They are actually pretty pricey. But I guess you get what you pay for too!

no you didn't. you're thread/title is quite vague. you never established if your looking for a donor long block, a runing swap long block, or a bare one to rebuild. you also didn't mention if you were looking for only retail type establishments or whether or not you were looking for some shop spares. so no, you didn't make it clear at all. i know you only have 8 posts and are prob not aware of the features on this site but their is a specific thread for small questions. use it and don't make pointless threads.
