Spring mount?

Just installed Tanabe springs w/ AGXs on my S13...Whenever I make hard turns, it sounds like the front top hats are sliding over the spring or something...like a light grinding/scratching sound...???

This happen to anyone else??

Did you slap back on the rubber spring wrap gobletly gook? You very well may have your springs rotating a bit in their mounts. Shouldn't be too big a deal, just annoying (my tokico springs do it too). You can pick up wrap to take care of it.

which tanabes springs did you buy? Im planning on purchasing the tanabe super down 2 inch drop. if you have the superdowns, Im just wondering how it looks and if you scratch going over bumps since its a 2inch drop all around. Funny thing is my friend just installed the sportline spring and agx and it also makes funny noises and not sure why.
