hello,
i was wondering what is the going price for a sr20 blacktop swap including labor in the So-Cal area. and is there anything specific that i should pay close attention to when i am getting it done by shops?? and what are some well known shops that you all recommend?? thanks in advance for your input.

Approx $4000.00 at a good shop with a guarantee on their work and their motors...
but do a search..i'm sure it has been covered MANY times in the past..

jspec has it for 4000 i think. sr20 installed.
or do it yourself. as long as you have the usual hand tools and engine hoist. no special tools needed. plus you get to say you did it yourself. i got the wiring info from the fag part of this site.

i wish i could do it myself, but i really dont have the knowledge and time and space to work it on my own. thanks again

try cullen at garageworks (www.garageworksltd.com)
he has good prices, swaps include clutch and downpipe, etc.
make sure you do your research, know what you should have, and dont try to do it halfassed
