S13 vs s14 hood release cable

Hey guys I have a hood release cable I'm not sure which chassis it belongs to

The question tho I have is whether or not the cables are swappable between s13's and s14's

I've heard that they are a different part number according to stock numbers but I'd like to clear it up once and for all if they are interchangeable most importantly because if they are then all those "hellaflush" guys who don't reroute the cable in time will be able to just grab any one out of the junkyard or hit up zilvia without waiting for that s14 partout or having to order one new

If anyone has an s14 and s13 that could just measure them side by side and maybe take a pic pointing out the similarities or differences that would be great
Or if you just have one and someone has the other that'd work also

So you want others to do your homework for you? Why don't you at least measure the one you have and take some pictures for comparison and to show some effort aside from the minute it took to make a thread. Are there brackets or endlinks or anything that could be identified? What about the one already on your car?

This section is designed to ask questions or ask for help so yes if someone has the resources which I don't and can simply measure and post pics side by side that would be nice
I don't see how that's "doing my homework" tho it wouldn't take any longer than it took me to post this thread
I did my homework google and bing searching my ass off looking for any info on this topic which is why I started this thread
I'l take a pic and measure the cable I have but like I said I don't know which chassis it belongs to which I don't find the most useful info

Do you honestly think someone is going to have both hood release cables just lying around? You're asking people to do some wrenching on their cars when you have put forth no effort? (searching google doesn't count as effort) You have the resources, assuming you have a measuring tape and a camera. If you post the info you can provide, and someone else does the same, there're two possible outcomes; they match and you know which chassis it came from, then you can focus on getting data from the other chassis; or it doesn't match and you still know what chassis it came from (the opposite of what the other user has) and you know they don't match. This is a community, not a library, no one's going to spoon feed you info without you putting forth some sort of effort.

they are swapable. i know cause i had my s14 cable thrashed at the track so i had to use a s13 cable to replace it. s13 cable is slightly short so i had to run it inside the engine bay instead of under through the fenders which i didnt mind at all.
