Im confused by what audio set up to go with for my s13 hatch. I am going with 6.5" for the front door, and thinking about eliminating the rears. Either going with a single 12" or dual 12" sub set up..Just dont have an idea of how many watts i want to run to either the door speakers, or the subs as well. It will be connected to a CarPC set up..Not a head unit. I can do like a two channel amp for the front door speakers, then a one channel amp for the subs. I just dont know what to run watts wise. I was looking at these 300Watt kickers, but dont know how 300watts will sound in the hatch of a 240. Would most likely be in a ported box. Open to all opinions, let me know!

I just installed 2 12 JLW6's(1998 W6's not the new ones) in my S14 with 700 watts and running the JL 6.5 components off my Clarion deck. 2 12s is too much. Now I have no trunk and no rear view mirror and am constantly looking out for cops. Sometimes less is more, or maybe I'm just getting too old for this stuff.

Lol, I see, I dont want my subs to over power my speakers and ruin sound quality, even though it all is adjustable. But i dont want to go to big if i dont have to, yet i dont want to have to buy something bigger if what i do get isnt enough. I used to have two 12" pioneers connected to a 500 watt 2 channel rockford amp in my 300zx that I bought used. They sounded great, real clear, and handled all types of bass levels, I'm just real iffy when it comes to purchasing audio cause there is so many different reviews on likings on any item.
