I currently have arp extended studs on my hubs that are 3" in the fronts and 2.5" in the rears.
I just got overfenders so I'd need a spacer around 20mm in the front and 30mm in the rear.

I am wondering if anyone knows if bolt on spacers would work with my current setup. If not would slip on ones be safe?

Yeah I had the same issue, but I only used 15mm's. I pushed the studs on and I'm using them as slip on's. I would like to know this as well. :)

bolt on spacer would require the removal of your extended studs
you can find 20mm slip-ons easily just make sure they're hubcentric
30mm would be tough, may need to be custom made

googled it and got this (amazing I know):
