Looking for some ideas as to which color to coat my wheels. May possibly just coat the centers, maybe the whole wheel.
Here are the wheels as they sit now.

Thoughts on doing the wheels lip and all this color?

A lot of the new Work line up is starting to come all bronze. Painted 3 piece wheels look good on the right car, but I've seen few people who pull it off.
With that said, white, bronze, silver or that chrome like color I've seen a few guys do.
Anything else just looks tacky and cheap.
What wheels are you painting?

If your wheel is either a single piece, or is a welded multi-piece where there is no visible hardware, I've always been a fan of single neutral colors: white, bronze, gold etc.

Two piece welded. The wheels used to be polished but the previous owner had them powder coated. :-/

I'm getting the black and green J lines powder coated a different color. Most likely all solid.

I can't quite tell if your car is black or dark green... If it's dark green, I say go with white centers and repolish the lips. That'll pop. I dislike dark colors on wheels.

The car is black and I agree I don't like dark colors on wheels either. It would be too much of a pain to get the wheels back to polished. So i'm probably just going to do a solid bronze on the wheels.

Oh, the car is black? I'd go all gold chrome for sure then in that case.

Definently, I'd go with either that old school shiny gold chrome all over or just the centers be gold chrome with gloss black lips.

That's exactly how I want them but sand blasting and repolishing would be a pita!

I can't bring myself to like wheels with a different colored face and lip without a distinct separation of lip and face.
My humble opinion of course.

You woould have to have them sand blasted anyways cause they won't powder coat over paint and other coating
Just have a paint shop strip them with heavy duty stripper and then polish them back up
