I have an S14 with a SR20DET and I just noticed that it is leaking transmission fluid out of the hole in the bell housing where the clutch fork meets the slave cylinder. I am worried that I will get fluid on my new ACT clutch and mess it up. Is this true? Or Is it safe to drive my car like this? What do you guys think?

If its leaking from inside the bell housing...then the front cover seal needs to be replaced or you have a cracked cover. Either way, you'll have to drop the tranny to get to it.

yes it will contaminate your clutch. get the input seal replaced right away. it is behind the throw out bearing shaft. less than 20 bucks from the dealer.

Thanks guys. I'm just gonna park the car until I have time to work on it. I am working on this car more than I drive it. LOL

I finally removed my transmission and it looks like the tranny leak is coming from an odd shaped bolt that the clutch fork rests on. Has anyone else had this problem? I think that I am just going to use a little teflon tape on the bolt and call it fixed.

I'd replace the whole cover if I were you. It might be cracked, causing fluid to seep around the pivot. One off the KA is the same exact cover.
