And I dont mean the camber adjustment. I'm talking about caster and toe.
I know most of us run every arm available for these cars but are they really needed? If you're competing in drifting then I can understand but for street use are rear toe and f/r caster adjustments really needed? I know in my case, Ill just have them aligned to stock specs, so the more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards putting my rear toe and caster arms back.
Do I really need the front and rear caster arms? Are they going to be useful for a street setup?

If you get a good deal on them yes but possibly it would be better to save the money due to your specific condition OEM would do just fine :)

To be cool. Idk. I got deals on RUCAs, Front tension rod etc. But the OEM ones does the job with maybe newer bushing.
but that's for daily use.
I got a friend whose planning to get the PBM steering angle kit and i ask him why? He response to drift more angle. And he doesnt even drift his car to compete let alone on a daily basis. Just drift on random warehouse lot or the occasional Adams park.
Idk i think its a stupid waste of money. but to each his own.

For a street car, they can still serve a purpose depending on how low you go. If you go low, you will hit a point that is out of the adjustment range of your stock arms. Aftermarket arms - RUCA and rear toe at minimum - will allow you to correct your alignment to "factory specs." The front caster/tension rod is nice since it replaces the blown stock tension rod bushing and gives you caster adjustment.
If you are going to stay stockish ride height, then Energy Suspension bushes will make the car feel new and you'll have plenty of alignment adjust-ability.
On a competitive car or not, they serve more function in alignment than just being stiff and cool. I would tell your buddy he may not need knuckles yet. Like don't buy parts to buy parts. Buy parts when you need them.

it all depends on how much you lower your car and how well you want it to handle/drive afterwards. in my experience, when you get RUCAS to fix the camber youve created from lowering, you will need rear toe arms just because in order fix the camber you push out the rear knuckle when you do that it creates toe out. for me it was a good 2.5 degrees and it cant be fixed with factory eccentric bolts. its just how the 4 link was designed. on top of that, if you are adjusting rear toe, the traction rod is going to need to be adjusted inward. (shortened)
in short. if you adjust one thing, you will most likely have to adjust them all. plain and simple. you will create massive binding on stock rubber bushings, etc..
hope it helps

^^^^like he said, Only if you plan on lowering your car, and if you care about the camber.
Im doing mine only because PBM had a special on the traction arm. and also got a hell of a deal on the PBM RUCA's.
