Just from that snippet on MTV's site, you can tell the production values have been upped over the original and it actually looks like fun. Doesn't look good enough to make me stop and watch MTV though.

I don't think it will live up to the hype of the orignal, simply because the original was so raw and unabashed for its time which led to it's popularity.
That being said, I agree with ILoveMyRHS13. I HOPE it doesn't suck, but it does stand a strong chance of falling into that category.

Beavis and Butthead in 2011? I understand back in the old days it was the same, the video segments is mostly made up of recycled footage and lots of looping of it. They for the most part are just reusing the old animation segments for the videos.
