Ok so due to extenuating circumstances I have to use my S13 coupe as a DD for my family of 3 and I have some issues with having a car seat in the back seat.

On the coupes 89-90 there is a 2 piece belt, a lap belt and a shoulder belt....the lap belt is a standard style clasp and buckle but the shoulder belt has a post on it that seemingly has no place to latch on to...I have taken the rear seat out completely trying to find out where it might hookup to but I couldn't for the life of me find anything.

This shoulder belt would help keep the car seat from pitching around in there so I kinda need it to work...anyone know where it goes?!?!

I took my seats out, but if I remember correctly the shoulder strap connects to the lap belt..it looks like the thing is missing the other half, but it's just weird japanese

Here's a link to some pictures I took of my rear belts.

DO NOT put small children or anyone for that matter in the back seat of a 240sx....

is it really that unsafe?? I figured out the seat belts and they are good and tight and don't move. They locked and don't move around even when I yanked it it stayed put.

It seems safe to me but your statement worries me big time...is there a history of incidents with car seats in an s13? I am in a tight spot and this is my only car...so if I wanted to bring my daughter anywhere I would HAVE to use this car...
