Just wondering if I would run into a problem using a Power FC on my s14 Silvia with a 5speed swap?

Ummm no its not a problem, I don't even think you can run a PFC on an Auto

You can't. I just wanted to make sure there were not any differences in the harness or something that would mess with the FC.

uhhh not sure, as long as you get the correct year PFC you should be fine

The only thing I would check is if your neutral position switch is wired directly to the ecu...

The s14/15 sr's rely on that switch for a host of things including the VTC function.

So I assume I would want it to be wired to the ecu? Are we talking the switch preventing the car from starting in gear? Most JDM cars do not have these.

No that's the clutch switch...I'm talking about the neutral position switch on the transmission. Just make sure that's wired up right.

You can - and you only need to bypass/relocate one wire. :-D.

Computer to control the auto tranny is separate from the ECU, but I digress.

Yea, as long as you have the correct PFC for the engine/engine harness, you are fine.
