Unknown fuel pump setup help...

Went to swap the fuel pump in my s14 and found whatever the hell this is.Its mounted in the tank and can't even access it, the wires were duct taped and zip tied :mrmeph:uhhhh sketchy. Not sure what i'm looking at so if anyone could help that'd be awesome. The orangish tube you see to your right appears to be the pump.

I got it figured out thanks, i thought the s14 fuel setup was the same as the s13 but apparently not. Pretty sure my car already had a walbro but the filter looked kinda gross so i replaced the whole assembly.

How do you get the sending unit out though, i searched and it says to pull it to the left and up. Tried pulling on it for a while and got no where, thanks for the help
