Apparantley, my gf's family requires me to be there for x-mas. I was so planning on going to the Dec event but if I don't go to Utah shit will hit the fan. Right now just biulding up the car, doing maintenance and a few upgrades, so in Jan I should be ready to rock. I know you will be competing next year, but does that mean no more private events? Or just not so many? I need track time soooo bad...

a nice twin turbo rotary MIGHT be found for 6000, if it was.. totaled or something.

Oh well. The good news is that it looks like there are lots of RWD sporty cars coming out right now. The 350z might be the next 240sx in another 10-20 years.

Drifting is going everywhere now. Theres a 2 or so page article in the december issue of Motor Trend about drifting. They even used a picture of Ernis Fixmer's yellow s13 along with the other pro drivers. Yeah, the errors are there, but its not really a bad article.

you mean that animated gif, that was taken over 3 years ago at my first first shop at overboost? that single over head cam automatic right hand turn with water assist? yeah, thats a REAL drift, sure. i dont get why people think I drift.

and i think it's fvcking awesome that he started drifting in a 73 beetle. i did too!!! well - actually, i could drift much better in my bug than i can in my 240 right now. it may be 1/2 the horsepower but being rear engined helps a bunch.

i heard a commentator during a NHRA event on TV this weekend talking about drifting after one of the top fuel funny cars went sideways at half track and saved it. it was kinda odd to hear from them seeing as they were covering an event that hardly has to do with losing traction or turns even:D

Actually it was an 03 WRX with around $10k in work in it, but its gone now... It was totalled thanks to a careless deer and a giant boulder. Is why im looking for the S13.
