so i've spent two days doing this and i've come to a stand still

the car is a 1997 240sx kouki with abs

i recently swapped 1990 z32 300zx front calipers and rotors on my car. i got the local jobber to make a conversion line. everything bolts up as it should

so when i went to bleed it, no matter what i did the pedal would constantly go to the floor.

i bled all calipers, unplugged the abs unit when bleeding. i swapped the master cylinder from the stock 15/16 to a 17/16. both of which still went to the floor. i swapped the stock booster with the z32 booster. all of which failed to fix my pedal going to the floor. i also bled the lines going into the abs unit and into the master.

the original brakes on the car worked perfectly fine, and the z32 brakes worked perfectly fine. so i know they all work.

can someone please lead me in the right direction. i am all out of ideas.

so i am totally stumped. i just swapped back my stock brakes and it works fine. anyone know any reason why it would act like that?

the bleeder on the z32 calipers should be facing up not down. try that it does wonders.

Sounds like you didn't bench-bleed your BMC, but if just changing calipers back made the difference then I'd double-check your seals on the Z32 calipers, and that you've got the bleeders facing up.

+1 on the bleeders-it's the most common mistake associated with the z32 brake swap

i have officially been deemed an imbecile. i had the calipers on the wrong side. swapped them around so the bleeder was on top. works great now.

im gonna go run into a wall now.
