backup lights always on

Help . . .

my backup lights are on as soon as I start the car. Right now, they are disconnected, but would like to get it fixed soon.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sensor is probably jammed. Take it out and see if it pushes in and out with ease. If it gets stuck, replace it. Keep in mind when you take that sensor out, some tranny fluid will spill out.

Just disconnet it an see if they go off ?? if they do buy a new switch
