That.

In PA, my first car was a co-owned car and only I signed the title to sell it..

Your title probably read as

Person A and/or Person B.

The OP's situation is probably Person A AND Person B.

The title on my car is the former, which is how I know.

how can you buy something without the other person's contact information? just curious...seriously, what were you thinking?

I hate dealing with titles. My first hatch I bought had title issues and I didnt feel like going though all the steps to get it fixed so I sold the shell as a track car and bought an even nicer coupe. (which I made sure the title was perfect before I got it) :rawk:

Because he's an ignorant 18 year old who didn't think before purchasing.

is the teller even allowed to write anything on the title? try going to a different dmv once "sigs" are there. and be like that lady didnt know what she was talking about or w.e. Also not sure why I am talking like its a girl but all my dmv ppl have been ladies.

Usually when shit like this happens you're given an option of sending a letter with a bill of sale inside with your info so they can sign it and it's shipped by certified mail to the original owners. I did this on my Cressida, I bought the car, wasn't under the guys name, and never filed the paperwork. I sent that letter to the original owner and a month later he was written off.

Goto a third party titling and plate service, they got currency exchange out there or something like it?
