rattle can paint adds HP!!!!

its ur car and ur decision. duplicolor has good paint might be hard to match it completely but it will look better then battle scars

If done well, rattle can paint jobs can look decent. So I would say yes go right ahead and rattle can it. Just make sure you stay consistent when spraying.

I think hes confused at what *hypertek* said about HVLP gun spray it. Witch stands for High Valume Low Pressure, that is required to have an air compressor. You can get a much more durable clear coat and finish after using one but if you cant find one your only choice is to use spray clear..

I got my gun from devilbiss and it is an HVLP but i have a 60 gal compressor to push it because i personally use it for painting the whole body.. but if you have a compressor and wanna get one youll probably have enough pressure to last for a bumper.

This is what i got.. great gun and great quality. http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraygundepot/images/devflg-lgcup700h.jpg
DeVILBISS - FinishLine Master Kit (http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraygundepot/devmstrkit.aspx)

i dislike the blue i got a chrome one. but yeah its a good gun.. cost effective.

Don't waste your time with any of this bullshit. Have it done, it won't cost much and it won't look like shit.

HVLP FTW. You wont spend much for paint and materials... So I would say go with bc/cc looks better and will have longer durability.

Seeing as you had to ask what duplicolor was, painting your own bumper probably isn't the best idea.

My front bumper is in similar condition, going this route.
Spend some money and have it potentially look even jankier, or spend a bit more and have it look how you want it to look? Your choice.

If you have are been cheap this is the only way to go, you will spend more on cans than a quart of rustoleum

Go to walmart, buy one can of white paint(.99$)
Don't sand it or anything. Do this in an open area where there is wind (drying purposes),and spray the shit out of the bumper. Within 5 minutes, shit will look just like new, and you'll even have leftover paint to paint your hood etc. Enjoy :)

hey sounds like a great idea! I'll do that right now and I'll make sure to do it out in the sun too so it'll help the drying process.

Rattle can it for now. Ull scratch, scrape it (specially if ur car is dropped) crack it, stupid people on street will back up in to it. Save your money/frustration for now until whole car is ready for a nice paint job. Your car aint brandnew and not show car either plus ull learn how do It urself.
