Couldn't find this in any search. Does the JDM front bumper come down lower than the USDM? Was originally thinking if just getting a lip for my USDM, but for a little bit more, I'd rather go JDM, BUT not sure if it'll sit at the same height or come a bit lower. Thanks!

I think they are about the same actually. The JDM bumper might hang a little lower. I'm almost positive that the usdm bumper is lower with a lip though.

a little more?
you mean bumper, lights and the hard-to-find-and-not-to-mention-$$$-jdm-lip?
oem lip has more impact on the bumper than the jdm one btw
most people don't notice the lip on my car

You're right, that JDM lip is no joke, but if the JDM came down an inch or so lower, I wouldn't get it. Looks like the JDM dimensions are 72x23x11. So I guess I'll measure to see if mine is 23 or less. Unless someone knows now? =) Couldn't find the dimensions online.

I've seen USDM bumpers on the ground all the time but never really seen the JDM bumper sit lower then a couple inches off the ground.
Somebody prove me wrong.

I assume it depends on how low the car is/what size wheels are on the car ??
im rolling on 19 and i am as low as i want to be an i have the front JDM lip and here is where mine sits.
Hope this helps ? If you look in backround there is a USDM Kouki with a USDM Lip

if you see them on the ground thats because the idiots here dont fasten them on properly, missing hardware and zip ties = shit hanging on the ground
the bumpers are all identical, the difference will most likely be how far they extend forward and what shape. its common sense, the 91-94 bumper is recessed at the bottom, so its less prone to scraping. the 89-90 does not recess, add the lip and it scrapes even more.
and whats all this JDM/USDM talk? the JDM and USDM cars used the same 89-90 and 91-94 bumpers, the only thing is the 96-98 bumper was not available here. overused terms, just like when people throw "type-x" out there.
