Ok first off, Im not posting the sheet for the emissions on here for security reasons because last site i did that my identity got stolen. Laugh if you must itll happen to you one of of these days.
Anyways my car failed emissions yesterday. High HC'S and NOX levels only. Everything else passed including the cat and o2s and egr. The numbers were over 2k than what the recommended level is.
Negative for no issues, positive for issues:
First diagnosis: I pulled each injector to see if any were bad, negative on those.
second diagnosis: dizzy timing(pending)
I want to add that the catalytic converter looks like a highflow type from magnaflow. If anyone has any experience with these let me know. I dont think my o2 sensor is screwed into it, ill have to check.l
To Make this sound more like i need help than just sounding stupid. No shop in my area and or my parents area will fix the car. They wont touch 240s. If anyone, ANYONE can help the emissions part like most pple do with swapped motors that dont pass, that would be super.
What do you guys think is the issue. Ive already spend 500 on a new egr,injectors,o2 and cat.
Secondary problem is that god forsaken whine that power steering pumps do. I just found out it leaks bad, as in when i turn the wheel all the way it sprays ps fluid on the motor. I am sealing it up tonight to see if anything changes tomorrow. No, the fluid level is neutral, no change or anything.
I drift so i know some like the feel of PS and the sport requires it so I want to keep the one on there aslong as i can until it fully stops.
Oh i forgot to mention. When it sprays the pulley itself slows down almost completely.
HELP! HELP! HELP! I DID MY RESEARCH AND DID EVERYTHING IT TOLD ME. I BET IM MISSING SOMETHING SO CHIME IN.
