View Full Version : Can somebody PLEASE help me identify these 2 connectors

Can somebody PLEASE tell me wtf this plug is. It's part of my s14's interior harness. It was located by the parking break. I couldn't even find out on the FSM. I swear it contradicts itself on some diagrams..

Maybe to illuminate the parking brake light? Shift Interlock? Neutral Safety Switch? To illuminate the reverse lights? Maybe even for overdrive activation?

Every individual colored wire has a different function.

Very possible its power mirrors like stated above. No idea on the second one but can you just drive the car see what works what doesn't?

Could be..I know that each individual mirror has a connecter with 4 wires each; 2 blue, 1 red, and one yellow if I remember correctly?

I just thought it was odd.. The connector did not fit on the switch. I'm not sure if possibly it's another different switch.

Anyone have a clue on the second one? Still trying to figure it out.

Can anyone help me identify this wire ? its fromt SR20det harness at first I thought it was an unused plug so I cut it off . I was trying to loom my wires and now my car won't start so I was wondering if this was it.

its pin 45 Ambient tamp sensor the blue and white wire?? do I need this one

What particular harness are you talking about? The engine harness? S13 or s14?

Ambient temp sensor is for AC on USDM 240 i believe

2nd one looks like something that is sitting unplugged in the passenger side of my engine bay near the firewall, bought my s13 with a redtop like that. Could easily be something else because I don't know much if anything about these cars, but if it's located where I said then don't worry that's not the reason your car isn't starting because mine runs fine.
