Hey everyone, im selling my 1991 240 Hatch w/ SR swap. The chassis has 147k on it, and the SR has 63k. I recently started hearing some rod knock so I left my car at home when I left for college, and now am being forced to sell it. It still runs, just will need a new/used shortblock in the near future. As far as the body goes its in average shape(has hatch rust as almost all 240s w/spoilers). Some paint chipping in the front, but overall its in good shape. Car will also come with a 6cd changer, power doors and locks, sunroof, and S14 seats. I can honestly say that this car has never been raced, nor a boost controller ever put on it. The current list of mods done to the car are:

Greddy VSPL FMIC
Apex N1 Dual Catback w/ Stock Cat + Test Pipe
3" Downpipe
Warlboro 255lph Fuel Pump
Apex Power Intake
HT Hotpipe w/ Greddy Type S BOV
Spec Stage 2 Performance Clutch\

Im located in Austin, TX, pictures are available upon request

Cars in great shape, other than problems ive stated. So with a little time and a bit more money, its ready to roll

Currently asking 4,750 obo
No lowballers please, and thanks for your time

King, I tried sending u an e-mail with pics but it said yer address was invalid. But as far as asking too much? I dont think so considering....

Body alone= 1000
Brand new FMIC= 700
Full Exhaust= 500
S14 Seats= 200
Intake= 150
Fuel Pump= 100
Brand new Clutch= 300
Changer and speakers= 250
Considering the fact that the head is good, wiring professionally done, and whole engine replacement isnt required= 1550

But again im not set on 4,750 so throw me an offer. Im not also going by parts cost, but also by checking most other auctions of S13 240s with well running SRs at almost 7-8gs+. So a running, but needing some work 240 w/ SR is around half that.

hey Evan, did you ever get your car lined out? I did a bit of research and found out that it is virtually impossible to get timing chain slap on an SR. I still think it is that gasket, bring it back by here and I will fix it for j00 :D

haha no its not the gasket, I gave it to MZM for a few days to have time to fully diagnose it, and it is lower rod knock. I appreciate it though
