final drive install

I bought a 4.3 final drive and had a shop install it. It was doing good for about an hour, now it whines on decel.

The shop says they do not have the correct shimming tool, anyone have one who could help me out or know of a shop who could do it properly.

uhh i think they need to pay to send it somewhere. I wouldnt let them leave a job unfinished

Get a refund man.

I do these my self for friends. There is no shimming tool.

There's a dial indicator and a filler gauge. you buy the shims from the factory.

Jeff Think you could take a look at it see if you can help me out? If not ill find a shop who has been doing it for years. I'm no where near sun valley tho Haha. Where is that from los Angeles.
