i like it except for the fact that they stretched a 10" wide tire across a 13" wide rim

does that really give superior traction though? it looks pretty cool but man that is definitely overkill.

I don't think I could get in my garage with those.
The car needs a more flashy kit though. The front bumper and skirts seem to subtle for the wheels and flares. But thats just looks wise, any more info on this car?

I like the car, I think it looks really fresh.
Here is a pic of the wheels/tires, that stretched tire is only useful if you dont want ANY tire bend, I guess that would be good for drift but personally, I think its not cool and would rather go with a properly fitting tire.

Since when are SSR's "ghetto fabulous"? Maybe you should re-think your life with an import and buy a Mustang. I think this car is hot..all though I would have gone with CA lights. The offset is awesome..so okay, it may not be your style to run good offsets or to have a wider stance or deep dish wheels..to each his own I suppose..but SSR's are still definately NOT ghetto. Thank you for playing.

Are ya blind? They're ghetto fabulous since the guy used them as an instrument of rice, buying the wrong size wheels and tires for his car. It's hideous. Ugliest fucking things I've ever seen on a Nissan. (period)

damn skippy. .
purposefully putting wrong sized tires and wheels on a car is the new thing to do in Japan, but that doesn't make it cool. If that car was here, it'd get laughed at left and right.
In summation ... It's just. . ugly, and worthless.

Blah blah blah.. the looks good, now everyone please shut the fuck up. :)
Seriously KoukiS14, call the rims whatever you want.. its quite obvious the guy not only spent a lot of time, but also spent a lot of money to attain the wheel setup he has -- and they appear to fit pretty snug if you ask me. Only downside is the tires, I dont like them tapered in.. but whatever, not my car not my setup. All I know is if I saw that car on the street, I would be proud to say "Thats a nice 240SX." Unlike many of the cars I see fixed up out here in Los Angeles, that S13 is nice.
Now what I DONT like, is the ghey article written by Mike Shin over there.. I mean come on, why do we have to read articles that talk NOTHING about the car, all they do is list parts. I hate hearing shit like "An HKS 3 row intercooler, and a Koyo radiator take care of the car’s cooling" that means NOTHING. From a readers' perspective, I would like to know more about the car and its setup, not what brand parts are in there. They need MORE detailed images, MORE specs, MORE real performance information.
If you're going to show a car, talk about how it performs.. not all this over-hyped brand-showoff shit trying to impress people with fancy words and what not.
ps: From a lighting perspective, the projectors have MUCH more potential in terms of upgrade capability than the older reflector headlamps, plus they are cheaper and easier to attain. If I was in his shoes, I would have gone with the projectors - hands down.
