I bought this lsd from a local buddy and he told me it was a Nismo. i have ridden in his car so i am positive it is an lsd and not some vlsd or welded diff. I have owned 2 kaaz 2 ways before and it felt pretty similar but not quite as harsh.

here is a vid of the diff. it looks like a nismo, but the little circular holes are up higher than the nismos ive seen.

also notice that there is no 2 bolt bracket/race that goes over the shims

my diff pumpkin also looks different where the output shafts go in..notice the flange that bolts onto the side of the diff pumpkin. ive never seen one like that

sorry ill get better pics tonight. This was pulled from my friends s13 and worked great in his. i just want to find out wth it is before i install it.

It looks like an older Nismo diff. The older ones have a cast case and the newer ones have a machined case.

That whole differential blows my mind.

looks like a mechanical 2 way, but the housings is nothing i have ever seen.

r200 class obviously but still very weird looking.

once again its a diff off a laurel/cefiro. inside might be a nismo but cant really tell

If it's locking clutch type you'll see in the hole something along the lines of a circle with a diamond around it or triangle...I dunno it's hard to describe...it should look something like this

It's not an A31 Cefiro diff case, they look just like an S13 diff. That's what I'm running in my car since they had a 4.36 ratio.
